Give this a try to look for missing or damaged windows files , go to start/run and type sfc /scannow , and press enter. Make sure to have youre windows disc in youre drive.

And do you have any skinning software like styleXP or windows blinds installed? Can you try to click random around where the buttons are supposed to be? Because i think there still there but "invisible" so to say.

If yes , then disable the skin , or select an other.

And you also have a couple of malware problems on there.

Please download Process Explorer by Systernals from HERE.

Then boot up in SAFE MODE and stay in safe mode (hit f8 when booting up), untill the entire fix is done.

Unzip Process Explorer and double click on procexp.exe

In the top section of the Process Explorer screen double click on winlogon.exe to bring up the winlogon.exe properties screen. Click on the Threads tab at the top.
Once you see this screen click on each instance of pushow73.dll once and then click the kill button.

After you have killed all of the pushow73.dll's under winlogon click OK.
Next In the top section of the Process Exlporer screen again , double click on explorer.exe and again click once on each instance of pushow73.dll then click the kill button.

Once you have done that click OK again.

Next run HijackThis and place a check beside each of the following:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
O1 - Hosts: 123.123.123.123 www.nittorevolution.com
O1 - Hosts: 123.123.123.123 nittorevolution.com
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Generic Host Process for Win32 Services] C:\DOCUME~1\ABRAHA~2\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rar$EX43.391\svchost.exe
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {9819CC0E-9669-4D01-9CD7-2C66DA43AC6C} - (no file)
O16 - DPF: {CAFEEFAC-0014-0002-0000-ABCDEFFEDCBA} (Java Plug-in) -
O16 - DPF: {CAFEEFAC-0015-0000-0001-ABCDEFFEDCBA} (Java Plug-in) -
O20 - AppInit_DLLs: pushow73.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: pmnlj - C:\WINDOWS\system32\pmnlj.dll (file missing)
Delete the file in bold , and do a manuall search for pushow73.dll and delete what you find.

Then reboot and post a new hjt log to check.

Hey, sorry for the delay. I've been really busy. Anyways i did this. Also i couldn't find anything at all regarding pushow73.dll in the hijack or in search when i was in safe mode or nomrally. Also there wasn't the last one of the quote, which was of WinLogon Notify, the exact same thing was not there, but there was one which just had Winlogon Notify and the gile name as above, that all, and none of the rest. Anyways, here is the new report. Still the problem is not fixed. Cheers.

Boot in safemode again , and then fix these with hjt:

O20 - Winlogon Notify: pmnlj - C:\WINDOWS\
O20 - Winlogon Notify: WgaLogon - C:\WINDOWS\
Reboot , and then do an online Panda AV scan here:

http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan?

And post the log from it , plus a new hjt log please.

Also make sure Norton/symantec is fully uninstalled , there are still severall entrys from it showing in youre hjt log , and that might be interfering with the ZA install.

Have a look in add/remove programs first for it , if not present then please post the exact version and year of Norton product that you had installed.

Edit: Please do not post in a thread where a staff member is assisting a user with malware problems. Also, do not post if you do not have the actual information to impart, it serves no purpose.

LGW
