OK, you got it, you have an HP Pavillion 700.

One of us will be back either later, or tomorrow, to give you instructions on what you will need.

In the mean time, try to find out if you bought the PC new, or used, and what CDs and documentation were included with the machine.

I'm sure the PC was bought new, most likely, we don't buy used stuff. As far as the CD's, most likely we got the install CD. I don't have a clue where it is though.

Have a look around the house or ask your dad whether he know where the restore CD's are for this machine.
All the documentation & cd's is probably being kept in the same area so it will be worth speak to your dad.

ok do this for us..

Click start.......Programs........HP.......HP PC recovery...It will ask if you want to reboot now click yes.. Give it awhile to boot into the recovery console....
Next it will give you 2 options..

1) Non-destructive recovery
2)Destructive recovery..

Click number 1 then let it go about its bussiness and all will be restored..
If not go back and do number 2

I offically deleted everything on pc without using a CD. My dad helped me. I knew there was a way to do it without cd, we did it once before. Now... theres some stuff on desktop like "software offers" etc... what all can i remove? and whats important to keep? theres something that says like "protect pc", it looks like an install, can i remove it?
