Hi,

This is probably a stupid question but anyway...
Say when I install a program and it/I checked the box where it says "Add a shortcut to my desktop" it adds a shortcut of the program to my desktop, but say if I deleted the shortcut and I want to uninstall that program in the future will that affect the uninstalling or not? (I'm asking because I got 2 many shortcuts on my desktop that's why

and I just want to make it look really neat :o)

Hi ya Henry, no it wont affect the program if you un installed it. I too do the same as you, and keep a tidy desktop as it can get cluttered.

It will also say it when deleting a shortcut that it wont delete the actuall program itself , but you wont know that untill you delete one.

And you can also delete shortcuts from the start menu and from the quicklaunch if you want to.
