Nothing again , it doesn't look like it is a malware problem , sofar everything turnes up clean.

Is there anything using alot of cpu time?

And lets also have an last malware look for rootkits:

Lets see if they find anything.

Hi joe,

They both return as clean. My CPU is running normally, all resources allocated to system idle. First thing I checked was the CPU, but apart from the obvious 1% or 2% to running programs, it's ok.

Strange.. Maybe it is an idea to run a memtest?

Or an HD test?

Hi Joe,

Well, surprise surprise - no problems reported from either of those. On the plus side though, my computer is now running normally again. Not quite sure why or how, but i'm having no issues anymore. As i've posted in past threads, i'll be on my newly built pc in a few weeks, so i'll not worry too much about this.

Thanks for your help Joe - marked as resolved.
