Windows XP/2000 - org windows wnaspi32.dll missing posted in the Operating Systems forums; I don`t know what happened but all of a sudden my Nero will not work,when I try to open it this error (above in title pops up) is it possible ...

Unhappy org windows wnaspi32.dll missing
I don`t know what happened but all of a sudden my Nero will not work,when I try to open it this error (above in title pops up) is it possible a folder for this was deleted by accident or what disc could I put in to recover it ?? thanks to anyone that could possibly help me,ps I reinstalled Nero time after time to no results because it`s saying an original windows wnaspi32.dll file,again thanks

Have a look if this works , download the wnaspi32.dll from Nero's site here:

http://www.nero.com/nero6/en/WNASPI32.DLL.html


The latest Nero Driver (for Windows NT/2000/XP)

Usage: Please copy this file in the Nero folder.

Version: 2.0.1.74

NOTE:
A link-up to the WNASPI is only permitted if your homepage expressly refers to Nero AG as producer.
Furthermore the enduser has to be advised that the WNASPI may only be copied in the applications folder, but not in the system folder.
Moreover, you have to emphasize that the enduser is not allowed to incorporate the WNASPI in his own installer.
Finally, the WNASPI may not be be used for other software burning programs.

Unhappy Yes I Have The CD
but it won`t do anything saying the version in the comp is newer than the disc I have ?? I talked to a Dell rep at a Kiosk today he said (1) log into windows (2) Run CD (#) Recovery Console , tried but nothing happened 4th hesaid reformat the hard drive by (1) turning off (2) turn on F-10 (3) Boot From Cd (4) Follow scripts to install windows ...it will crash the system and I`ll lose everything I have a Sony Burner that came with Nero, Thanks Got any more idesa lolthanks

it`s a whole windows file in a folder that was deleted..I tried the Dell thing and nothing there works,The only option it seems I have is to crash it and re-install windows,geez I hate to do that any other suggestions ?? Thanks for helping me
