Windows XP/2000 - MP3 player not recognized posted in the Operating Systems forums; Does the device have a listing in the Device Manager? If so delete it, and when you plug it in again windowsw will reinstall the device...

No, it doesn't show up in Device Manager.

Well I formatted the computer, thinking that would fix it, and it didn't. I think I might have had the wrong drivers isntalled for the USB hub though. I found out that it is a 'VIA VT6212', but when I downloaded it and went into the setup it says 'You must have at least Windows XP Service Pack 1 installed', but it is...
