Question [Resolved] Reinstalling failed Windows updates

Having purchased a new computer a couple of months ago I am making sure that this time I make use of the Windows update. However when reviewing the installed updates (on the Microsoft update website) it shows a few which have failed. From the appropriate icon (a red circle with a yellow cross and a yellow quesion mark alongside it) it advises to try reinstalling the (failed) update.

I have been unable to find out how to do this as these update no longer appear on the update website as updates to install.

So my query is, how do I this?

Derek

Hya Derek.

Have a look trough the installation history to see if the same updates havent already been succesfully installed at a later time.

Thank you. I went back and had another look and they were indeed reinstalled later. There are only about 10 entries on each page and all those KB numbers look very similar so I had missed them when I first looked.

Thank you once again,

Derek
