Default File question... inctp60.dll

I have someone trying to register their Quicken 2006 and it gives them the error unable to locate file windows/system32/inctp60.dll

Is anyone familiar with this file? I don't have it on my computer and it brings up nothing in any search engines. Did I not hear them correctly?

Hey there Spyder X
  • How does quicken 2006 register, is it online or does the person have the serial number?
  • Get them to reinstall the software and then try to register it?
  • Where did the person buy the software?
I have searched for that file but nothing is found on the net so make sure he jots down the correct filename.

It is indeed strange that the filename brings up no results at all , but you could give this a try:

Technical support for Quicken is available from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific time, Monday through Friday at (800) 811-8766. Depending on why you call, there may be a $24.95 charge for the call.

Phone support is free of charge for the following issues:
  • If Quicken phone support can?t resolve your issue, there is no charge for the call.
  • Product defects known to Intuit, or that are found and verified during your troubleshooting session. If billing was started for this issue, it would be reversed.
  • Data conversion from earlier versions of Quicken to current versions on the same platform (Windows to Windows or Mac to Mac).
  • Installing Quicken for Windows and Quicken for Macintosh.
  • Registration of Quicken.
  • Quicken Bill Pay problems.
  • Known server issues or outages.
It is free of charge for registration problems.
