Default Internet Security

Everytime I log onto the internet I get 10-20 popups at once every few minutes. I ran spyware remover (spysweeper and Spybot) but not much help. I stricten my internet options security a lil higher but it prevents me from using and loading almost all websites. If the security is on default than I get massive pop ups but if it's on max I cant load up most web sites. Please help me.

Hey there sntinman87

Click on 'Prework' in my signature and follow the instructions for running both the ewido and Hijackthis scans.

When you have finished, post the logs onto the forum for the security team to checkout.

Hey Sntinman87.

You can let Ewido run again and have it fix everything it finds this time.

And also download the attached file , unpack and run it by double clicking on it and allowing it to be added to the registry.

When done , post the new Ewido log , and also a new hjt log please.

But security settings are not the problem it seems , i would strongly advice to install a firewall and an anti virus app. We have severall free AV's and firewalls in our download section.

And when youre pc is clean of malware i would also update windows.

Joe, maybe an idea to let the programs run in safemode? That way they'll most likely delete more problems

I didn't really replied to mention the safemode, I hoped you would find out about the missing attachment
