Default msconfig query

G/day All
I have three programmes that start up and sit in my task bar when I start my comp.

They are for Ipod,a Movie making programme and a photo programme, there is nothing in the actuall programmes to allow me to stop these from loading on start up.

I went to msconfig unticked those programmes in the start up tab and rebooted comp.

When comp rebooted it advised me that I had been into Syst Config and changed the way windows starts and that the Syst Conf Utility is in diagnostic or selective mode and to choose Normal in Syst Utility and undo changes. Which I did.
That took me back to how it was.

A check box also says dont show message again or launch the syst conf when windows starts.

Do I check the box or have I missed something?

Thankyou yet again.

Yah, what you'd have to do is go back and uncheck the programs that you dont want to start up, and restart your computer. When it starts back up and gives you that message, go ahead and check that box that says not sto start msconfig when windows starts. That way, all your settings will besaved, and it wont start on its own.
Hope this helps,
Connor
