Default [Fixed]I need certain recovery program!

Ok heres my problem. My files got corrupted or something. And I had to delete my old login account (windows xp login name).

This had all my files and stuff on it. And Idk where it is at all. It doesn't turn up anywhere. But the thing is it is still taking up space>!>!>! Around 40 gb of space!!!!!!!!

This is really bad because I barely have any gbs left. I only have maybe 3-4.

This program ,Recover my Files, found the files. But it can only copy the lost files to my computer. And thats just adding even more space!! I need something that can find the files and delete them for good!!

Please for the love of god. Help me!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I only have one drive

Hi FuLL4290,

Welcome to The PCHF,

Try looking in C:\documents and settings
look for the name of the old user profile that you had and save/delete the files from there.
Let us know how you get on

Well I tried to delete the folder hundreds of times. The thing is when I check the properties of the folder. It says 0 bytes and 0 files and folders!

Also the read-only box has this redish square in it (sorry Idk what it is)

And when I try to delete it, it says

"Cannot delete Name: Access is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is currently not in use."

Sorry, I know that this is a very rare problem but this is what happened.

Ok i think I might have fixed it. Heres what I did.
Went to my computer>properties>advanced>user profiles>settings
I looked at it and it had one with 30 something mbs. I thought this might be the account I lost. It was named Account Unknown. So I thought eh what have a got to lose (EVERYTHING...) so i delete it and I get back 20 something gbs. Idk if its all of it or maybe I exagerated on the 40.. But still... anyways Thanks for trying to help. Ill post again if anything updates.
