HI, I paypalled and downloaded the XP bootable disk from bootdisk.com for Windows XP. Now, I put the Cd burned from the iso in my CDrom drive and it did boot up but I don't know how to use it. The boot files are in A, the utilities are in R drive. I do know how to fdisk and format but want to use the boot files and the utility files. I guess what I am asking is, how do you move around and use all that stuff in command prompt? I am trying to make a copy of my ex-girlfriend's computer with XP on it, which I did, so I can do a fresh clean reinstall after she gives it to me. Everyone is telling me that you can't make a restore or copy of Windows XP, but I mean, she bought it off ebay and it didn't have a restore disk, but did have Windows XP on it. So,will await your assistance, thanks for listening, psingman
Welcome to the forum. The products and services offered by bootdisk.com are excellent. Unfortunately I have never used this particular iso so it will be difficult for me to advise you. Maybe another Tech or member will have relevant experience
