Hi, my name is Paul... im not too hot on the technical side to computers so i will try to explain my problem as best as i can. My problem is, whenever i am running a game or any other program really my computer minimizes whatever programm i am running and returns to the desktop, It seems to happen if i do not touch the mouse or keyboard, i have noted that it seems to happen when a white box appears in my task bar. When i right click said box i cannot restore or move it, i have no idea what it is. Can anyone help me, i hope i have explained this enough..thanks

What programs do you have running in the background when that happends?

And lets also have a look for malware , if you click on the "Prework" link below in my sig and follow the instructions there , and post the two resulting log files then we''ll have a look at that.

Also you dont seem to have a firewall , have a look in our download section for some free firewalls if you want.

this problem only happens when i am running games...Rome Total War, Football Manager, the Sims...all games. I have run the spyware software but the problem is still there.

Have you also done this part? Can you post the results of the scan?
