Default trying the advise

As a highschooler my life is complicated this week w/AP exams. I'll get to it sometime after this tuesday. The installing and reinstalling looks like it could take me server restarts.

ok unstalled the windows media player and codecs...i'm about to reinstall it. I noticed another problem...I don't have the ability to search for files/folders. The search window shows the dog but no speech comes out. >.< i can't find my My Music folder. My whole computer is a mess. (my harddrive space is 200gb so manually looking for it is not gonna be fun)
