Hi charles,
*To remove your startup password you will need to enter the bios, to do this when you 1st turn ur comp on it will bring up a picture with the make of ur computer, somewhere on that pic it should say press f8 or delete or something like that, then move to an option which is most likely called security or locks, move down to boot pasword and disable it, or change it from boot to setup so that u do not need to enter a password at boot, an easier way would be to just change you boot password to nothing therefore disabling it from asking for one,EASIEST WAY: or you can remove the password is to simply open up ur computer and remove the battery for 30 seconds then replace it, this will remove the password, BE AWARE: remove your power cable from the back of the computer before opening yur computer as there is a risk of electric shock.

*To fix your sound you simply need to reinstall the drivers, unless you have plugged the speakers in the wrong hole on the back, they should be plugged into the green hole, if they are plugged in correctly then if you tell me the make of your sound card i will send u a lik to download your drivers. if you dont know the make goto start-->all programs-->accessories-->system tools-->system information, on the left side click components-->sound device and it says the name there.

*the answer to your keyboard problem is either you havent installed your keyboard drivers or if you install service pack 2 that usually sorts out the keyboard problem, also make sure you have installed all windows updates that are found on the microsoft site, http://www.microsoft.com . hope this helps urs dave
