Default Computer turns off and on by itself :\

My Emachines computer has a problem that started like this. It would shut down by itself, a window would pop up saying "ending explorer.exe or CPap.exe(or something spelt weird like that) then i would get shut down. Now it doesnt give any warning it just shuts off. It tries to reboot multiple times and it wont it just keeps turning on and off. The time I actually did get on though, Norton auto-protect, and everything was disabled, System Restore does not work, it says it cant be restored. I have taken it in to get repaired before and they wiped the harddrive but about 4 hours after I got it back it did it again. Virus Scans find nothing. I have changed the power Source, all fans work, changed the Motherboard. I am stumped and if the Pc fixing stores cant do it either i assume they are as well. It just keeps shutting on and off and acting mental. I also checked my list of processes running and there didnt seem to be anything un normal running. Any help would be thankfull...STUMPEDDDDD

This would seem to indicate some kind of virus infection i think , please (try to , with the rebooting) follow the instructions in the "Prework" link below in my sig , and post the 2 resulting log files for me to look at.

I know.

But if something is ending his explorer and antivirus software , and next boot the AV doesn't work and system restore doesn't work anymore then it could very well be a virus at work.

And if he didn't mistype it and it really is CPap.exe , then it also is probebly a virus.
