Hey Guys, i have a prob wiv my comp, u see i created a password reset disk n kinda* lost it, is there a way to disable the floppy disk from being used? I dont wanan change my password as im not to good at remembering them all as i have soooo many different 1s. all i basically want it to du is when i type the wrong password it doesnt ask for me to use the reset disk, thx dave

If you want to disable the floppy disk, simply remove the FDD cable from the rear of the drive.....

I still want my floppy drive to work, i just dont want the floppy disk i created to work, is there not a way to get the message that asks u to insert the disk to go away so it just says wrong password enterered n so it doesnt say try inserting your reset disk and create a new password, thx anyway hengis

Umm no then. The best thing to do whenever you have a potential security comprimise situation is to change your password...painful I know but it will allow you to maintain the integrity of your system
