Can you uninstall and reinstall the driver for the wireless adapter?

I tryed uninstalling and reinstalling but it still shuts down from time to time, still only while using the internet. Could it be a hardware problem with the wireless adapter itself?

Possibly but it's the least likely outcome. Do you know if the wireless adapter is a PCI card or whether it's integrated onto the motherboard?

Open the case and carefully put the card into another (white) PCI slot.

Well, after all of this, now it is beginning to shut down with other programs as well. I put in a music CD and it played for about 40 minutes before shutting down, without being online. Is there any info that is logged when this happens that I can retreive to try to diagnose this problem?
