Hi again i still have that svchost.exe error message at startup...(not at every start-up tho, occasionaly) the error where it asks you to either press ok to terminate the program or cance to debug. just recently my soundcard is working ok then a bit further on in time i open a song um in wmp and it says that my soundcard maybe corrupt or missing files windows does say this device is working properly in device manager(and i have to restart the pc for it to be detected again). and when all is workin well my video playback on any software is bad the quality is poor it looks really bright and griddy it looks like ur playing somthing in safe mode:-(......oh yeah sorry one last thing my explorer crashes alot and has to refresh by closing my desktop icons and taskbar..alot of the time when i minimize somthing like wmp its really annoying could someone please try help this forum is the ultimate for help

This could be a driver issue. Can you tell us the exact make and model number of your sound & graphics cards. Use the link in my signature for full details of your PC if needed.
