Hi, new to the forums...first post! So hi to all...now to my problem...
Been trying to use UMDGen (a program for PSP iso extracting) and VCDRomX.
However when i try to extract to a folder, and am asked to select a folder, it freezes up.
When hitting the X button next to My Computer (or any other folder, My Documents, My Shared Documents etc) it thinks that there is nothing inside the folder.
This is a new problem, as about two weeks ago when using UMDGen (with the same file, although since the problem i have tried with many other files) it worked flawlessly.
After asking around on forums related to the program, people believe its not the program causing problems, its a Windows problem. (Which is what also led me to try VCDRomX).
Hitting cancel also causes the same crash. Also the 'Save to directory' window that opens is a Windows XP window, different to one created by the program (for example add folder in winamp etc etc)
Any help is well appreciated, so thanks in advance for any advice/help given.
Thanks again!!!
Mr. Harry.

Hi there "Mr Harry" and welcome to PC Help Forum.
I have 3 things for you to try; 1) Raise the virtual memory available to Windows. Ask if you need help with this. 2) Follow the System File Checker link in my signature below and run the utility 3) Follow the "Pre-Work" link in my signature and after completing the procedure post back the 2 resulting logs as attachments in this thread.

Sure no problem;
1.Click Start, click Run, and then type sysdm.cpl in the Open box. 2.Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Performance. 3.Click the Advanced tab, and then click Change under Virtual memory. 4.Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change. 5.Under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, type a new paging file size in megabytes (MB) in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, and then click Set. Or set it to "System Manged Size" - preferred
