Ouch , that wasn't what i told you to do.. I only said to remove the "pavlsp.dll" entry(s) with lsp fix. Do you remember what the files names where of what you have removed?

Give this a try:

Download the Winsock XP Fix utility from here:http://www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html

Launch the WinsockXPFix.exe
  1. On the Winsock and TCP Repair Utility screen, click Fix.
  2. On the Apply the VB_Winsock fix? screen click Yes.
  3. The Winsock and TCP Repair Utility screen will display a status message.
  4. On the Repair Completed screen click OK to re-boot your computer.
  5. If your computer was not using DHCP, you will need to re-configure TCP/IP.
  6. You should have connectivity restored.

Glad to hear youre connectivity is restored again. And those 4 files are legit and shouldn't be removed.

And sure , ask away. Thats what we are here for.

But have you defragged youre HD('s) lately? Also run this cleanup app:

Please download ATF-Cleaner.

Run ATF-Cleaner:
First check "Select All" , and then remove the tick infront of "History".
Then click Empty Selected.
When you get the "Done Cleaning" message, click OK.

Have you defragged youre hd's? And do you have enough free space on youre drive(s)/partition(s)?

Also lets run a registry cleaner:

install and run RegSupremePro. It will want to make a backup of your registry , let it. Once it has finished, click on the Registry Cleaner tab, select Aggressive. When it has completed, click on Select, choose All. Click on Fix, and let it fix everything that it finds.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4256.html

Also give this a go , go to start/run and type sfc /scannow , pess enter and have youre windows cd in youre drive.

And have you looked in youre taskmanager to see if there is something using alot of cpu time? (when freezing , but also when it runs "normally")
