The little white bubble that shows from the taskbar doesn't show anymore. I don't really know what the bubble is called, but hopefully you know what I mean.

Does anyone know how to get it to show again?

Have a look in an explorer window , tools/folder options/view tap , and then scroll down to "show popup description for folder and desktop items" is ticked. If not , then tick it and press apply.
