Hey guys!
Yesterday, I got my new laptop! It's also from ebay, but its a lot nicer and I dont think Ill have any problems with it. It's an hp Pavilion ze4300. However, I was interested in upgrading a few things. I currently have 512mb of ram installed, but I'd like to upgrade it to 1gb (the maximum supported unfortunately). I emailed tech support, and they told me that the compatible memory was:PC2100 DDR SDRAM SODIMM, 200 pins. I they went to a memory website, where they look at the configuration of your computer, and it said that I had a PC2700 installed. It works fine, so I was wondering, should I buy a 2100 or 2700?

Also, I read somewhere that this particular laptop has the capability for integrated wireless. I was looking into getting an integrated card, but I want to make sure that I have the compacity to before I buy it. Is there a program out there that will allow me to see if I have a mini-pci slot thats free without me taking apart the computer?

Thanks a ton,
Connor

Have a look here and see what that says about youre ram:

And if it has "intergrated" wireless , then you already have it.

Alright, so they reccomended 2700, so that problem is solved. However, I know that I dont have integrated wireless. Im currently using a PCMCIA card. I remember reading that this particular computer has the capability for internal wireless (as in you have to upgrade it when you bought it). Seeing as though this never happened, I was curious if there's a way to tell if there is a mini-PCI slot to put a wireless card in.
Thanks
