Default Runtime Error!

I have had the following problem for the past week: Often when I try to reach Word 2002 I instead get the following message: ?Runtime Error!. Program: C:/Program Files/............../Office 10/WINWORD.exe. abnormal program termination.? I can usually reach Word 2002 after several tries. What?s going on and what can I do about it? My platform is Windows XP.

Welcome to the forum swash,

Sounds like you need to uninstall and re-install Office. Use the add/remove tool in your Control Panel to remove Office and then make sure you delete the Office 10 folder in Windows Explorer.

Then, using your Office Cd, just re-install the whole suite again. Let us know how you get on.
