Default cant remove programme

Hi all, ive got a problem where i had a cam on my pc and havent used it in ages,so i tried to remove the programme by going into control panel/remove programmes, highlighted the programme and clicked delete. It initializes the removal of the programme and its componets but then it just stops and the programme remains!
How can i get rid of it?

Hya Vespaboy.

Try to uninstall it in safemode , (hit f8 when booting up) that might work.

Hi Joe5

Tried uninstalling it in safe mode but its the same thing. There were about 2 other programmes that were installed with it at the same time (all off the installation disc) and these all ununstalled ok but the main programme wont.
It goes through the unintall wizzard ok,then says 'click ok to uninstall this programme and all of its components' which i do,but it just goes to a bar which shoots up to 100% quickly and dissapears leaving the programme behind.
Hope that makes sense? :o

P.S, also tried uninstalling using the disc that came with it but its exactly the same,no cigar...

Sounds like there is somehow still something running from the app , have a look in start/run/msconfig and see if there is something from the app listed on the "startup" tap , if it is then untick it.
