Default copying and pasting images using FF

Hi,

I'm kinda new at computing and I would like to know how I can copy an image and post it to a forum etc. I use FF 1.5.0.1 and can't seem to get it to work.
I can paste it to my email but I don't know how to post it anywhere else.

Thanks, jaymoe

Hi jaymoe,

Welcome to PCHF. We have a wonderful team of techs, here, and even a couple of die hard FF users. I am sure we can help you figure this out.

First of all, in this forum, if you want to upload a picture to share, we ask that you use the image hosting service ImageShack, if you scroll down a little from the screen you type in, you will see a section called "Upload your images to ImageShack", simply click on Browse, locate your file, click on Upload and another browser window will open, highlight and copy from the option that says "Direct Link to Image", then Alt +Tab back to your post and click on the

icon in the toolbar. Paste the URL into the textbox, and hit enter, your picture will be included in your post, like this, LOL.
As far as posting your pictures into another location, or forum, you have to have some way of uploading the picture to post it. I am not at all familiar with FireFox, so I will contact one of our staff who is more familiar, they may have specific information regarding that browser.

Hope that helps a bit. Look forward to seeing you in the forums,

TTFN

LGW
