Default Corrupted File

I have been trying to delete a file from my system to no avail. I have tried everything.

The file is something left over from Yahoo desk top search.Has anyone else experienced this problem.

Every time i try to delete it windows says the file is corrupted and cannot read it.

Things i have tried.
1. Boot to dos same error.
2. In safe mode same error.
3. Thrid party programs that delete on next reboot same error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to PCHF ronwaz.

It would help us and save time if you could list the programs that you have tried already.

The name of the file is "ydsep800a-1b.exe"

Programs i have used to try and delete the file are:
A. Delinvfile.exe
B. Killbox.exe
C. Gipo@MoveOn Boot.exe

Nothing has worked. The main problem what this file is that it causes the CHKDSK utility to run on boot if the file is accessed even though the file is not used but everytime i try some way of deleting it is when CHKDSK runs and it finds no errors.

Have a look in this thread , you have tried some of the options in there already but there are severall other options. Give Unlocker a try first:
