After those problems i had with the booting, i decided to reformat my system to factory state and everythings ok now. Onto my problem, i had the option for the recovery program to preserve all my files. I have put them all back in their correct locations, but cannot delete the folder that they came from. Windows XP even in Safe Mode says "Access Denied, make sure the disk is not full or write protected", how can i delete this folder, im literally going to go mad.

I ended up formatting again, but this time letting the recovery program, deleting/re creating the user partition and then re installing Windows. All sorted.
