Welcome to PCHF!

It's easy. Do this;

Open Control Panel
Sounds and Audio Devices
Sounds Tab
Look down the list and left click once on "Start Navigation"
Select the dropdown list below and in that list go right to the top and select (None)

Hit ok and you're done.

And he could also turn his speakers off.. That also works , but it is not what he is asking..
