I think its strange that when I put the Ear-Phones into the entrance in front of the CD-ROM I dont get sound there. Only when I put it into the speakers entrance on the back of the PC I get sound out. But why I can not get sound from the CD-ROM???
Can someone help me. I hope U understood what my problem is...If not, dont hesitate to ask me.

Hi there Cska133 , welcome to PCHF.
I never use that connection but i just tested it , and it only works for a cd i play in that drive , and only when i start the cd with the play button on the drive it self. Any other way of starting the cd , or other music/sound , is not transmitted to that headset connection. Hope it helps.

Do your PC's speakers have a headphone out jack on them? That's also a good viable alternative if so.
