Install problems
I tried to install xp pro to a computer but, know it won't let me do anything. There is just a black screen. The computer was having some problems so, I tried to install xp pro over the regular xp. I can get into the bios area but, I haven't change anything there. When I try to let it boot from the xp pro cd when I shut it down and then turn it back on it won't do anything. Could someone let me know what I should do. Thanks

Welcome to PC Help Forum! Well, how do you mean that you tried to install? I think you mean that you were not able to start the installation at all? How's your BIOS set to boot? Make sure it's set to CD-Rom first, and click a key to boot from CD when that comes up your screen. Bluefish |
