i think i messed up goodstyle.
all my programme files want to open with acrobat reader! can anyone please tell me how to change these properties?
i can't even format disc run system restore or any of those tricks because they all try and open with acrobat
god i can be really dumb sometimes please help me :sad:

Do you recall what you did that started this? Was it a choice that you made for a particular program?

Try this first, click on Start, Run, type in sfc /scannow, have your XP cd in the drive, then hit Enter. This utility will look for corrupted or missing system files.

i was trying to convert a word document so i could view it in acrobat and inadvertently changed the wrong file which must have been a programme file.
now pc tries to open all .exe files with acrobat.
yes even the run command you just gave me just tried to openwith acrobat
internet connection is only programme i can use cant even format disc

Give this .exe association fix a try:

Unpack it , double click on it and allow it to merge with the registry.
