Hi,
I have a D drive with a FAT32 file system and it is running low on free space.
Probably D drive is for storing recovery files and that is more the reason for me to clear unneccesary files from it.
Now the question is, how do I clear up some space in my D drive?

If you have indeed used those instructions , then youre paging file is to big. Merlin made a mistake there.
So you need to decrease its size , or disable the low disk space warning.

sorry for the terribly late reply, i was away for a bit.....
anyway i opened my d drive with explorer and i found a folder with a yellow lock as its icon which i could not open. well a message in the same window appeared after i double clicked it saying that this area of your hard disk or partition contains files used for your system recovery.............. so based on that do you guys still think i can access whatever which is in my d drive?

That means it is an recovery partition , wich you need if you want to restore the O.S. and software to factory default.
Unless you have an regular Windows disc then you'll want to keep that recovery partition intact or you wont be able to "reinstall" (recover) the O.S. when needed.

Is the data stored in my d drive fixed or will more data be stored in there?
