Hi, no it's a Windows XP installation cd.

Does it matter if I get a disc that is Windows XP Professional or Home Edition? I am running Professional at home....pardon me if that is a dumb question...

OK, I now have a Windows XP Professional disc....what should I do next? If I insert it, will it mess up what is already on my computer?

Hi Miss Molly 1!
First of all, when you insert the disk, nothing will happen without asking you if you're sure what to do. Also, before it starts formatting anything, you'll have to say Yes about 3 times, so you do not have to worry about a thing
