 Hey Guys,

@Briguy, I think you need to start over. Go to Bootdisk.com, link is in my sig. Get an XP bootable floppy, when you get to the command prompt, type in Fdisk. Delete all of the partitions, and reconfigure.

Then reformat, in NTFS, then reinstall XP. You should eliminate the errors that way. Please let us know if you need more detailed instructions.

Look forward to your reply,

TTFN

LGW

Alright I must be doing something wrong, b/c i try to boot from a floppy and it tells me "Please remove any media- And press any key to restart":computer1 this is really starting to **** me off.

Update- Alright so I tried the xpquick.zip and the xpquick.exe, First i tried the exe, i put it on a formatted floppy that was formatted in xp and it would give me the "remove media" error. When I unpakced the zip and put it on a floppy it would read it but then it would go and try to boot xp and it would just blue screen.

Try the XPquick.exe again , but dont copy it to a floppie. Putt an formatted floppie in the drive and run the XPquick.exe to create the bootdisk.

Well after searching around I managed to find a win98 boot disk in my drawer of floppies. Also I tried a ms-dos formatted disk that I made in xp, it allowed me to get into the command prompt but not to do any commands such as fdisk.

But, when I tried the win98 boot disk I was able to get into the command prompt and enter in commands such as fdisk. Now I'm stuck on what to do now. Any help?
