:cheesy: Hey Guys,

@Matt, how about a little more info bud? LOL, it's in the details. Actually, I am not seeing any information that supports your comment. Can you please be more specific as to where you got that information? Thanks a lot. :smiley:

@Windy,

Here is Microsoft's explanation of the difference

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/h...choosing2.mspx

The bottom line is that Pro is designed to be set up in an administered envirionment. It really was designed for business use. It also has a good deal more security installed in it. However, the requirements for both Home and Pro are the same. Let's see what Matt found.

Maybe system restore and or hibernation is taking up alot of space?

To cleanup old restore points:

Click Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Cleanup/more options tab , then after system restore , press "clean up".

Or to disable it completly:
  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  3. On the System Restore tab, check Turn off System Restore or Turn off System Restore on all drives.

And to disable hibernation:

Go to control panel/Performance and Maintenance/Power Options/Hibernate tab , remove the tick in front of "Eneble Hibernation".
