 Hey Turtle,

Welcome to PCHF. We have a wonderful team of techs here, and I know we can help you get this solved.

Even tho you scanned your PC with a virus checker, there could still be other malware that is causing the problem. Please carefully follow the instructions for PreWork in my signature. Remember to save your ewido log to post back here with the HijackThis log.

Once we make sure that your computer is clean, we can begin other troubleshooting methods.

Look forward to your reply,

TTFN

I'm not to computer smart so I have no Idea what you just said, btw I've just logged onto my desktop (theirs seperate users between me my mom and my sister) and my computer and such works just fine, its my moms desktop or whatever you call it that when you try to go to control panel it doesn't work, which is also strange since I'm the only one that really downloads anything out of all of us which use the computer...

Hya Turtleman.

What LGW meant was to click on the "Prework" link in her sig. (in the bottum of her posts , mine aswell btw) If you follow the instructions in that link , logged in on youre mom's account since that one has the prob , and then post the 2 resulting log files to a post here then we'll see if we can get rid of the problem.
