hi, iv got a bit of a problem. i downloaded a program to change my ip and now my internet is running so slow and many sites dont work. i went onto a site to check my ip and it changed and sais im from south korea so many sites dont work.
is there any way i can get this sorted and my original ip back?? many thanks in advance this has been doing my head in lolmoco |

Hi Moco,
Welcome to the PCHF, Ok to start with you should probably uninstall the program. Secondly we need to know some thing about your connection. Do you have a fixed IP address? If you do you should contact your ISP and resolve it through them. If not try this; click on "start" then "run", type "command" or "cmd" (whichever works, command is for win '98 and cmd for most others), when the command prompt comes up type "ipconfig /release" when that finshes type "ipconfig /renew" This should reset the ip address from your ISP.
