Looks pretty good , but fix this one with hjt:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyOverride = local.,
And also disable the windows messenger service:
Please download Shoot The Messenger

Download and run the small (22 kbyte) "ShootTheMessenger.exe" utility. It will display the current status of your system's Messenger Service. The button near the bottom of its window will allow you to set the service to whichever state — running or disabled — that you desire.

If, for any reason, you should ever choose to re-enable the Windows Messenger Service, simply re-run ShootTheMessenger to do so.
And if the pc still freezes , have a look with this app to see what the tempertures and voltages of youre pc are , and report back the result please:

Default Computer temperature

I did move the tower recently (I actually moved). and I found where I had it, it seemed to be too hot. so i shut it off after having it running for a few days and it hasnt been the same since; thats when i started having all these problems. the tower always did make alot of noise and it did seem as if its making less lately. its still freezing... I brought it back to where i purchased it today and the guy was a real jerk so i left the store. i bought it almost a year ago, part of my warrenty was up anyway. so, i been having these problems since about 2 days ago now. i'll try to post the temperature readings ; you guys are really amazing and knowledgable ... thank you... !!! I can't figur out how to send the results though!!

Default freezing up

Hi everyone, the computer is only freezing when I connect to online. If I run a virus scan while online, that seems to keep me connected about up to 15 minutes longer. I can't believe this, I don't know what to do. I don't trust too many people at the computer repair shops; especially after yesterday when I brought in my PC to where I had brought it from and the guy was a jerk about it. My computer has about 90% free memory on it!!! Do you think it could be saved? or might I have to buy a new tower? Has anyone dealt with this sort of problem? Thanks...

If the pc has been running to hot for a while it could be damaged from the heat im afraid. But you say it makes less noise now , i would open the case and have a look if all the fans are still working.

If the HD is still OK then all the data can be saved , but first lest have a look at what speedfan says , can you post the temps and voltages it shows?

Default I sent an error report

I sent an error report to microsoft and the last diagnosis from microsoft said that I actully have some sort of hardware failure. Fan is hardware right? and the computer is less noisy so that might be it. The guy at the computer shop said if the problem is hardware related that it is covered for free i think. I can't get the tower open yet to evaluate the inside, but hopefully soon enough. I think I might take it to the shop today. I doing good so far, about 20-30 minutes with out freezing, amazing. But it still takes me about 7 switches of the power button in the back to get the computer going. Thank you so much everyone for your help. I am recommending your site to anyone else who has PC trouble.

"covered for free" is always great ofcourse!

Since you still have warrenty , i would just leave it closed and take it to the shop.
