Default [RESOLVED]Internet Explorer restricted site

In an effort to add another pop up blocking layer for a particular website I added the site to the list of restricted sites in my IE/Tools/Security tab. This caused the site to not fully load. I want to remove the site from the list of restricted sites but I can't find it in the list of sites that are restricted. I have searched the list of sites and don't see it there. Is there any other way to look for this site so I can remove it from the restricted list?

The site is espn.com and the restriction now won't allow me to use sections of the site that I enjoy. Additionally, this site is my homepage, so would that cause the site to be listed differently in the list?

Thanks for your help.

Maybe it is listed under a different name?

And it sounds like you have a bunch more sites restricted? So clearing ALL restricted sites isn't a option?

Also post a hijackthis log , it should show up in there , see below for a link.

Yes, there are many sites in the restricted list. I did not put them there however. I assume they get there based on my security settings and the known list of bad sites. I have put a couple there based on my desire to limit pop-ups. This fix was suggested to me and it worked well for one site, but it has not worked as intended on my home page.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you.

Have you tried adding it to trusted sites?
It might come out of restricted if you put it in trusted.

Tried that earlier; get error message that the site exists in another list and must be removed from the list first before adding to trusted list. Also, I tried changing homepage to another site, hoping espn would show up then, thinking it was called homepage or something similar - didn't work.

What about system restore? Would that go back to another day's listed sites?

It could be that a anti spyware app has added a bunch of sites to the restricted sites , but normally there shouldn't be any there if you didn't add them youre self.

Post a hijckthis log to check if those are legit or not.
