Question [Answered] Dell XPS winxp Safe Mode boot issue

I would like to boot into safe mode to run ewido but I don't seem to have the option on my XPS laptop to boot into safe mode.
My options are BIOS (F2) or boot sequence (F12) with no safe option.
This is probably a Dell config issue more than XP.
If anyone has a clue I would love to hear it.

You're right joey, a gentle repeated tap on the F8 key as your PC leaves the "Dell" bios screen will bring up a menu, from there you can select (amongst others) Safe Mode.

Yea, that was it. I was just hitting F8 once and that just speeds the boot process.
You have to repeatedly tap F8 to get to the safe option.
Thanks
