Windows XP/2000 - Disable program installation posted in the Operating Systems forums; is it possible to disable any n all forms of installation (programs, activeX, etc)? like i mean is there a way to fix the registry or somethin? thx in advance...

Sure, you can put the user account into a restrictive group like "User" and you can set restrictions via Group Policy.
