Default You need to use internet explorer to do windows updates.

Hello,

Since windows-update uses and activeX applet to do the updated you need to use internet explorer for windows and office updates.

regards

Default IE for updates

Hi Grasshopper,
As RDSTAR says you do need the activeX to run updates so you have to get your updates through IE.
