Hya Faraz , you can indeed try the app above or Killdisk to try to get the drive formatted , but i wouldn't trust the HD if you do manage to get it back to work. I would really advice to try to look for a replacement HD.

PS, no need for double topics.

Exclamation

hi guys im refreshing this post after a long time.

the thing is that i boot and nuked my disk but it didnt work, so i then took it to the guys i bought the cpu from. they took the disk and while i was waiting thjey fixed it in 10 minutes.

on asking they told me that it was no serious problem cause they appeared tio be physical bad clusters but they were actually logical bad clusters(?????).

so they booted in dos mode wrote some extremely strange 6 or 7 commands a nd a programme opened and they fixed the disk and also partioned it at the same time in the same program. wat was it and wat were the commands they refused to tell me and told me that it would work now. and charged me for that simple task.

and it did work perfectly for about 3 weeks. but now the same problem as i mentioned in my first post of this thread is occuring again, the same logical(???) fault.

so can some1 plz help me with that or tell me the commands that guy entered.

thx in advance

But as i said above , i wouldn't trust the HD anymore. It could completly crash anytime.
