Hey guys, yesterday took the easy way out and reinstalled windows.It all started when I was uninstalling spyware doctor and getting rid of programmes I hardly used.All of a sudden it froze,so I pushed the off button hoping everything will be normal. Well guess what no.Desktop popped up, no Icons just the start button.Tried the off button again but this time booted up into safe mode.Couldn't restore to a point cause i deleted all except one which wasn't good anyway.Did the whole msconfig thing to no avail. Also had no internet connection so I could contact you guys.I'm a novice when it comes to computers so you'll Probably understand why I took the easy way out.Would anyone know what may have caused the mailfunction?:smiley:

Did you only uninstall programs , or did you also manually delete files? And what programs did you remove? And did it froze during uninstalling something , or after?

Yeah I was just unistalling spyware doctor the and a downloaded file I got from Forex trading.(The proper way).

It was during uninstalling.
