I got this message twice today. It comes up when I attempt to install a program. My pc has had a history of issues. Mostly drivers files. Its very argravating.XP has been reinstalled a few times as a result of this. I end up with several profiles on my disk that waste space yet stay there because i dont want to delete anything important from those past profiles that may come in handy someday.Meantime My goal from the begining, to record the kids, make/edit movies and burn them off the hard drive. Now having never reached that goal, of the 80 gig HDD i have about 11 gigs free space. I have stopped recording the kids, and I have yet to see the day of reformatting and starting over with XP and a clean slate. I used to be able to manage Win98 in this way but XP is more complicated, and i hesitate to wipe the HDD because there are kids vids thoughout as well other important stuff, I just cant get a handle on all the content and issues my pc now has.overall its great, i mean i have high speed internet, the computer seems stable most of the time except for when i want to do what i think should be simple tricks with graphics in general. So I offer myself to you fine folks after the Hijack this experience took care of some issues, I discovered this is a pretty cool forum.I will wait to see what all you have to say and then cooperate any way i can.thanks for setting me on the right path in advance.

It replaces the command.com, autoexec.nt and config.nt files.

Is the prob gone now?
