:computer_ ......
Hi Everyone and a belated Happy New Year to All.
Been awhile since my last visit and really like the new layout..good work!!
Okay my problem thats driving so more crazy!
And one Ive spent four days trying to find a solution to ..obviously I havent as yet ..hence this post... okay Im rambling ..
About a week ago when I power down my computer. It goes past the saving settings bit, then just hangs there for a long time.. and Im meaning often up to the 10 minute mark!!!
The mouse cursour moves around ok.. but crt/alt del doesnt do anything.
I have latest virus defs and run AV daily.. as I do adware/spyware progs.
Also clean up Reg files.. empty cache etc etc.
Have run sfc /scannow ... got the lastest patch for the recent scare !!
Oh I havent installed anything new in regards to software/hardware for several weeks!
So Im baffled... wondering if anyone can help!
If I just log of it takes litearlly a couple seconds.
Also when I log on to windows whilst its not as fast as it ought be,, its certainly not taking the huge amount of time it takes to turn off!!
Finger crossed some one can come up with a suggestion.. constructive that is!
Thanks
Les
