Hi kennywenny!
Welcome to PC Help Forum! How are you sure it's not overheating? What operating system (and service pack) are you running? Does it also freeze when you turn it on, let it start-up, and then do nothing? How did it start to happen? Have you changed things before? Also, does it restart automatically after freezing? hi thanks for replying
ok basically a few months ago i had a different graphics card, and my pc wus crashing at first it wus a heating problem and i fixed it, then it became a grafix card problem so i changed it, it wus running fine for a few weeks until it started crashing again, then i got a friends card and it wus working perfectly for the duration i had it (cnt remember wat card it wus), but now i got a new one and it wus working fine for a month until i just sat on it one day and crashed again. im using windows XP and the normal service pack i gues... dnt really know. and no it doesnt freeze when it starts up and no it doesnt automatically restart. it just freezes a few minutes after i start playing a game or when i just start using a program 2 do somthing, e.g using i-tunes to get mp3s. |

What kind of PSU (Power Supply Unit) is there in your PC?
How many Watt? Perhaps your graphics card has come loose, since it works fine on another card. Do you know what type of mainboard you got? Bluefish |

Could you please check your mainboard (MainCircuit Board) specifications using this program?
Also if it says 400W that will be enough for sure. Last thing, are you sure that RAM and graphics card are both connected tight to the mainboard? Bluefish |
