Exclamation [Resolved] Windows update

Hello again,
I have downloaded and installed Security Update for Windows XP (KB835732) for several times already and it keeps failing. I have no idea why it can't be installed into my com. I have even tried system restore.

Now I am trying to delete all the updates and install them all over again. But it seems i can't delete them all at once. Is it necessary to install them all over again?

Thanks.

Thats an oldie.. and no need to uninstall any other updates.

Do you have any service packs installed? If not , then skip to sp2 , looking at how old that update is , im pretty sure it will be included in sp2.

But you could also try to download it from here:

Everytime i turn on my com, windows update only installs Installing Security Update for Windows XP (KB835732). I need Windows sp2 to run a program "daemon tools version 4.0.0.0". The weird thing is my winver is service pack 1. I have checked the add or remove programs list and found several windows xp hotfix (sp2) .

Go to "my computer" rightclick on an empty space and select "properties" , it should be onscreen then.

But you can also turn of auto update and then manually update windows.

PS, that it says sp2 is normal even if you only have sp1 , there are also sp3 hotfixes , but sp3 isn't out yet.
