Default Cant switch between user accounts

Well today I have received problems while trying to switch to other user accounts. My problem is we have two accounts on the computer and if one is already logged in it wont let me get to the other one. When ever I switch and click on the other user icon it loads a blue screen then brings me back to the welcome page. Any one have suggestions on what I should do about this? Its a family computer so its annoying having to log out of my account in order for people to open theres.

Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum.

You said it loads "a blue screen and then goes back to the welcome screen". Does this blue screen have any writing on it, such as an error code or error message? If so, can you please write down the message and then post it?

Also, how much RAM does your computer have? Did this problem just start happening, or has it always happened?

After I click on the user icon it loads to go to the desktop but then reverts back to the welcome login page. So I just see the blue background of the desktop then it goes back to the welcome page. I dont see an error message when it loads up. It just started happening today. Dont know where I can find out how much ram I have but my system info says I only have 153mb of physical memory available.

That should be enough (guessing you have 256 megs of ram installed) Can you do this for us..

Right click my computer...Click manage..then there will be your event viewer in the upper left hand corner with a little + by it. Click that + and let us know what it says under system and software. Ie..little red or yellow warnings.

Warnings under applications
WinMgmt- found 2
Userenv- found over 50 two of them were most recent

Under System errors:
Many that had the source Service Control Manager and terms of service

Can you double click on the "WinMgmt" and copy the "discription" to a post here?
